A highly-respected insurance professional with over 24 years’ industry experience including senior management positions with AIG, Allianz and Respect Slovakia
Marek Benko – Non-Executive Director
A qualified lawyer with over 17 years of experience in the insurance industry including providing legal services in the field of financial intermediation and representing the clients in particular indemnity cases.
Sean Agius - Executive Director and Risk & Compliance Officer
Chartered Insurance Practitioner with 27 years’ industry experience occupying senior management positions and specializing in commercial insurance, risk management and compliance, and supporting lecturer at University of Malta and local financial services training institutions
Karl Micallef – Non-Executive Director
A CFA charterholder with over 20 years’ experience within the investment management industry providing customised investment solutions to insurance companies and occupational pension schemes.
Jessica Stivala – Independent Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors
An authorised certified qualified accountant with more than 10 years of experience in the insurance regulation, having held a senior management position with the Insurance & Pension Supervision Unit of the Malta Financial Services Authority.
What We Do
PREMIUM writes a broad range of non-life business in Slovakia on a Freedom of Establishment basis via a branch office in Bratislava. The Company also writes business in the Czech Republic from its office in Malta on a Freedom of Services basis.
Specialising in property insurance, both commercial and personal, the company offers a wide range of commercial insurance products, through its strong underwriting team and backed by high quality reinsurers.
